Dell Pro KM5221W Keyboard & Mouse

My old wireless mouse was causing me all kinds of issues. Costing me extra work. New mouse and keyboard eliminated all that frustration. I get my work done in very quickly. I should have done this months ago. Easily installed and a very reasonable price. After two and a half months of use the mouse has started being an issue. I’ll be working on a document and all of a sudden the cursor start a running all over the document. I have auto delete to reset and hopefully I get back to the work I was doing. Not friendly !

I like it. But when my PC goes to sleep sometimes it will not wake. I thought it was the oc and settings but turns out it's keyboard & mouse.

Shipped in original dell box. Seller shipped it quick. Works great out of the box. Mouse runs on 1 AA battery (one double-A) Keyboard runs on 2 AAA batteries (two triple-A) All 3 batteries come included. Comes with 1 receiver for both, it's tiny and plugs into USB typeA port. This wireless keyboard & mouse are sort of cheap. Same quality, design, and feel as the basic wired keyboard/mouse that you get with any dell desktop. 4 stars because the new standard of quality for basic keyboard/mouse is significantly cheaper and worse than it was 10~15 years ago. Works great, but I'll be amazed if it works for more than 2 years of daily use without any issue. The scroll wheel and letter e stopped working around the 2 year mark on my last set.

At the time of this review, I've had this Dell combo for almost 4 months. At the time of purchase, I had looked at multiple options for keyboard/mouse combos and landed on this one. There were a few reviews at the time that caught my attention, "keys stick," "mouse issues," etc but at the time I assumed they were one-offs. This product being a Dell, from Dell was enough for me to take a chance. I wish I had not. I'll start off by saying this combo is being used in an office setting during a normal M-F 9 to 5. There is no excessive wear and tear. Almost immediately, I started receiving a "mouse battery low" error, that is lovely enough to be shown as a pop up window that won't time out. You have to manually clear it from your display every time. This error came within the first two weeks of use. At first I thought, no problem, the batteries that shipped with them wasn't name brand, may have just been bad batteries. So I changed them to Duracell Pros. I still continually get this error daily even with the first set of new batteries and an additional set. Plus the pop up is annoying to have to clear multiple times throughout the day. Second issues with the mouse is that it looses its mind at least three of the five working days. It jumps from one portion of the screen to the other, 'double clicks' when I only click once so every email I click on opens up or pages/items move when I don't want them to, etc. Overall, bad mouse. The keyboard does not fair better. The keys do stick. Badly. Again, this started happening early into the purchase, probably a month. It's annoying as well especially when its the function keys or Enter, then all kinds of background tasks are trying to open and I can't do anything except for turn the keyboard off and rake the keys trying to unstick the one that's stuck. With the issues between the two devices this combo is definitely a distraction and not in a good way.

After 6 months, mouse and keyboard stopped working & i called dell for replacement. Dell team said, they will help, but they needed serial number, and surprisingly, i checked my keyboard and mouse and there were no serial number, i was fooled and i got fraud device.

Bought 6 months ago and never used as we accidentally purchased the American layout. Old keyboard and mouse finally gave out so decided to give it a go and get used to it. Mouse has scrolling issues straight out the box, scrolls up one then down once so practically unusable

My rabbits got on my desk accidentally and chewed off the rubber cover on my mouse wheel and lost some keyboard keys so I had to replace both. Good thing they are cute! This product is perfect for my AIO desktop, USB receiver was plug and play and I had everything working in 2 minutes. I also love that they provide Duracell batteries for both items, not cheap, generic brand ones that will die quickly. A really nice touch that I appreciate as a heavy daily Photoshop and Lightroom user with probably more than the average mouse and keyboard clicks.
