Q: Are these actually 7" from metal to metal? Or does the 7" include the excess tape?

Metal to metal. (I actually measured for you. :). ) 7" from each stop point on the zipper and about an inch of excess tape on each end.

Q: Are these small enough for Barbie clothes?

No, they are 7" long. I think most Barbie clothing openings are about 2". For Barbie clothes, I would recommend snaps or Velcro.

Q: I saw you let people pick the colors. how can i do that? i'm looking for primary colors (red, blue, yellow and green). 25 of each. please advise. ty!
