Q: I just want to be clear, does this swing come with everything you need to hang it from the tree? Or do I have to buy something else to hang it from?

Yes it comes with everything you need to hang it . We hung ours on the apple tree in our back yard. The grandkids under 5 were not able to balance on it. The older ones (6and up) were able to balance on it and have really enjoyed it.

Q: This tree swing came today with no instructions as to recommndation of installation, cautions, weight limit, etc. Did you get any directions? Thanks!

Sorry Carol, I do not remember getting instructions. We ended up not installing it as my grand daughter was completely fixated on her unicorn swing.

Q: How big is the circle to fit the rope through in the center?

The swing comes with a rope to attach to another rope.

Q: What is the breaking strength of the rope?

I have had for over a year with daily use and it is not even worn! My husband (6'2") gets on it as well. It is not a full size rope but just enough to attach to a longer one, so you will need to purchase more rope.
