It's Black. It arrived on time, and fits my tow vehicle. It has a box section welded onto a flat piece that is bent and has a hole in it. It's heavy and has a info/spec sticker on it. I havn't used it yet but seeing as I'm pestered to write a review, this is all Io can think of. Many thanks and happy towing
