Great engine pulls strongly and turns itself off after 5 minutes
This engine is great looking. It pulls strongly and produces steam. It turns itself off after 5 minutes which saves batteries. Hold the on button for 4 seconds and it takes off! After a full year of hard play the engine still pulls well. It is expensive, but it is well worth it. The kids, 1 and 3, love it. I just bought a second one and the new one works as well as the old one.

A Fun and Interactive Train!
The BRIO World 33884 Battery-Operated Steaming Train has been a big hit with my son! He absolutely loves the steam that comes out of the train when you press the action button. It adds a fun, interactive element to his playtime, and he’s fascinated by how the train works. The train is also well-made and sturdy, as expected from BRIO, and it pairs perfectly with other BRIO train sets. It’s a great addition to his collection, and I highly recommend it for any young train enthusiast!

Train no longer works
We bought this train in July for our grandson. The train worked fine at first but is now dead. We have changed the batteries but it no longer works. Disappointing for a Brio product!

This little train is so much fun! Our boys love the sound effects and the little puff of steam. Very worth it.

I wish I could 5 star this!
My son is absolutely obsessed with this toy! I think we might have got a faulty one because it works off and on.. maybe a loose wire? When it does work it’s amazing! It can pull a good amount of trains behind it. I’m impressed with the quality.

Stays on the Tracks and the Steam Function is Fun!
We got our almost 2 year old grandson brio trains about 6 months ago and he loves them. We recently purchased this engine and are impressed with it. It stays on the tracks very well and the 'steam' function is a real fun feature. We would buy it again!

His favorite train
Our son has 10+ trains and this is his favorite one. He loves the fact that it produces steam and that he can refill it with water.
