Has the heft, feel and look of a real piece of medieval iron. Well done!
After applying a decal to a flat gray steel door we changed the door handle with this piece and it added a great deal of reality to the transformation. The wood screws were a bit small and not meant for a steel foor, so they were traded out for some machine screws and ... poof ... all done! The ONLY thing missing is the patina of something hundreds of years old, but "C'mon, man" what do you expect?

Beats a doorbell.
We should have purchased this knocker years ago. We are tired of trying to get a doorbell that works on our mobile home. This is a true gem.
