Q: This IS microwavable correct? That info isn't exactly stated.

I have owned it for quite some time and I boil water in the microwave all the time and it seems to endure quite well. I have even done turkey drippings to put over our dog's food occasionally and the grease doesn't even seem to affect it. Great product!

Q: What is the handle grip made of?

The handle is made of plastic but not smooth hard plastic. The plastic feels a little soft when you grab it but is hard underneath. That's the way it feels to me.

Q: The measurement markers on the angled (view from above) surface don’t align with those on the side. Which is correct? It’s ounce difference.

Mine is in alignment. Accurate reading from the top can be tricky, but it's the way I do it most of the time.
