Main Burner-Bar Burner (G651-1100-W1)

Fit and finish is good. The Charbroil brand named burnnr was more efficient. The flame on this one comes out red/orange and gets a big flame if turn the gas up. The Char broil brand was a tight blue flame. Been using for a couple of weeks with good results but would have bought the Charbroil replacement if I knew there was a difference between them.

This unit was a perfect replacement for the one that wore out. It was easy to hook up and worked immediately when the propane was turned on. It looks like it is a good quality product and for the price it saved me having to invest in a new BBQ just because the main piece that aligns with the gas fell apart from a few years of service. Definitely worth it and would buy again.

Is it a Charbroil Main Burner Searing Burner G6521600W1 that is 17" or is it a G652-1600-W1 that’s 14", because most sellers don’t know what they are selling for the right Performance Series™ 6-Burner Gas Grill. Charbroil insists this is the right part, there are so many different part numbers for the same item and there both the burners but are different in length. A buyer had to modify theirs with a copper extension just to get it to fit. Beside looking dangerous there is a lot wrong starting with Charbroil.

First of all, I knew right away that the burner would be short by 2 or 3 inches. I also bought a 6-burner refurb kit which left me with an additional burner, cut it to size and slipped it over the end to extend this main burner. Fit like a glove. Read below where someone extended the other end with copper pipe, doesn't seem like the safest way to go. Only disappointments were that it didn't come with a new ignitor or a new clip. Had to use the old ignitor and clip. Besides that, I am satisfied.

This is a replacement for the "sear burner" on my six burner char broil. My original is 17.5 inches, and this one is 14.5 inches. I used some copper pipe, and a copper pipe coupling to fit this together. Also with a piece of copper sheet metal to support it. Since there doesn't appear to be an actual original 17.5 inch replacement available. I'm not happy with it, but I'm not unhappy either. My original was used for one summer before it started to burn through. So I'll be happy if I get one or two seasons out of this one for the price. Also, this is made in China, it is NOT US made like its advertised as. But It does seem to be as good, if not slightly better quality than original. Which isn't necessarily saying much... Just know what you're getting into if you decide to buy this. You'll need about a 3 inch × ½ inch copper pipe, and a 1/2 inch copper coupling. Cheap pieces, but still something you'll need if your original is 17.5 inches long.

I wish I had read some of the reviews before buying this. It is only 13.5 inches long, and my grill has an original searer that is 17.5 inches long. Nowhere in the description does it tell you the length. Also, I believe someone else noted this - but it is made in China, not the US - as is claimed on the description. Seems good quality and well built, but be careful on the sizing. I returned mine.
