Loved how it is written, to the point. Writer is witty and seems knowledgeable regarding Older rituals, gives you confidence to do the rituals and I have tried chaos Magick using other methods and I feel very confident in using the Olympic spirits. Like I said, I found this made to be on point.Thank you Adam, I really enjoyed reading this book.

I have not read the book yet, but, in answer to some previous "reviews"......I am INTIMATELY familiar with all 7 Olympic Spirits. They are by no means evil or demonic, but instead are remarkably generous and willing to harmlessly, and effectively assist in Magickal operations, with unexpectedly profound and long-term results.......results that one may not plan on or guess at, and may seem to be genius-like in how they are fulfilled, beyond logic or conjecture.The nature of the spirits is unknown, since they are not classified as Angels, Demons or G-ds, but appear to be a powerful aspect of the rulership of each of the 7 "old" planets. They are "high-ranking" Kabbalistically, and yet VERY close and accessible to our realm of Earthly existence.They can be approached through differing methods and systems, since they stand on their own independent OF those systems, making them an excellent body of powers for experimentation by the Chaos Magickian, who can work without regard to any of the constraints and rules of any imposed system.The Spirits are an absolute gift to Humanity, and can upgrade our evolution, advancement in the world, and ability to help others, should we partner with them in our self-development.......Nothing is beyond their spectrum of influence and effects.Building superstitious assessments around them from uninformed on-line resources, is to defame the miraculous, and blessedly simple-yet-dynamic relationship that we can enjoy with these Beings. Superficial dabbling is probably the reason for some reported failures......dedicated alignment with them will yield FAR more than that, speaking from experience.Other resources :Arbatel: Concerning the Magic of the Ancientsupdated by Peterson (Christian orientation / clear and concise)The 7 Seals , A Practical Occult Experience by Maha Vajra ( Golden Dawn / Kabbalistic / Christian)Good for preparation to enter upon communion with the spirits, and all-round occultism. The breathing methods outlined, have been questioned in a review on the book itself.I am intrigued to see how Mr. Blackthorne approaches the subject and associated practices, and what results may come of that. Chaos magick is built on the concept that it works because the universe is in constant chaos, and the magician uses this energy for quick results.Like many of the works of GOM, occult techniques are applied to shift the concousness into the realization that change has occurred. Very clever, and an ancient practice.The tone of the book itself is full of enthusiasm and energy which makes it an enjoyable read.Chapter 5 is a key point in getting in touch with emotions, as this is what enflames the power of magick.Chapter 12 is an indispensable section with a system for contacting Olympic spirits. I used the sigil for Phul with extreme success. Not using my regular, lengthy evocation process, but the instructions in the book, I could feel the raw presence in the room.In the past I'd attempted an evocation of Phul to understand the passage of time and see many things which have passed in mediaeval times of Basque Spain. I had no success, then a little success.This is an extremely useful book not just for Chaos Magick, but also worth a pound of gold for The Olympic spirit sigils.A recommend it for your library- an indispensable book!

Enjoyed reading about practical applications and techniques. Definitely good for a novice such as I.Have started right away with some techniques.

Good book, worth the purchase for the section on Olympic Spirits alone. I purchased this initially just to browse for curiosity, not really having anything in mind, and then returned more intentionally after reading a blog post on the Gallery of Magick website highlighting Arathron’s power to stop something in motion. I’ve since worked with him a few times, once when I was very desperate in a way that’s hard to entirely describe, and he came through for me, and also in less trying times for things I needed in the moment. I’m not from an occult background, but have increasingly found myself in this world, and am appreciative of his help when it felt like I was totally alone. If you’re reading this and are wondering how you would apply this, think stopping someone you love from leaving you, stopping someone from moving out of state, stopping someone from leaving their job, avoiding being called into work (I used it for that!) if you have a job that has on-call hours, etc. The rituals are easy to do and give fast, effective results. I’ve additionally enjoyed working with Phul, Och and Haggith, but the most special thank you goes out to Arathron here. Thank you, Arathron, for your help, truly, and hope everyone here enjoys if they decide to buy : )
