Worked well for running a rear view camera on my sedan. Wished it were longer so I could route it better.

I bought this cable to use in a project of retrofitting a backup camera into my car. The camera I bought came with its own cable like this but it was not long enough for what I needed. I purchased this cable so that I would have plenty of length to make it from the radio and the dash all the way through the body of the car into the trunk lid. The cable works perfectly well and the connectors are solid and well-made.

This cable made my installation of a back up camera much easier! When I first got the cable it did have a very strange smell to it, but I just aired it out for a few days, and that took most of the smell out. The cable did it's job and was worth the buy!

While this cable is fairly nice it is not really an extension cable. The video cable has the same connectors on both end. An extension cable would just plug in between the two points to be extended. They need to change the name from extension to just cable, replace it with a proper extension cable or add an adapter that would allow you to use it as such. I give it 3 stars because it is not what they say it is (one lost star) and I had to make a second purchase in order to make it work(second lost star).

I used this product to extend the length of cable to my rear camera on my Jeep. Seller shipped very promptly & I was up & running within mins of receiving the cable.....but only because I had already worked out that this cable was not a 100% true extension cable - it needed an RCA gender changer on one end to make it a true extension cable. I think the seller should include that it may need a gender changer in the their description. Would be helpful for other people. However I am really happy with the product & was aware of the issue, so in my case 100% happy.

Good quality for price. Not high end quality but for what I need did the trick. I would recommend.

Cable arrived damaged as shown in the picture, I bought this cable to avoid having to make a cable harness so fixing it is not an option. Sent back for refund.

Would have given higher rating if the rca video ends were one male and one female. But they are both male, so you need a gender changer. Bad manufacturing decision.
