After two years of toaster frustration, I've finally found a winner in the Zwilling Enfinigy Cool Touch Toaster. In the past two years alone, I've purchased a Black+Decker ($40) and a Cuisinart ($80), both of which promised even toasting. Both failed miserably.The Black+Decker was a complete hit-or-miss, burning one side while leaving the other pale. The Cuisinart, while slightly better, was still inconsistent, and definitely not worth the doubled price tag. I was ready to give up on the perfect slice of toast.Then, I decided to take a chance on the Zwilling Enfinigy. I was hesitant given the price point, but the reviews were promising, and I was desperate. And let me tell you, it delivered!The Zwilling toasts perfectly, every single time. I've used it for everything from thin slices of sourdough to thick bagels, and the results are consistently golden brown and evenly toasted. No more burnt edges or soggy middles!What I particularly appreciate is the simplicity of the design. The single knob adjustment makes it incredibly easy to dial in the perfect level of toastiness. No complicated settings or confusing buttons. Just a simple, reliable toaster that does its job exceptionally well.Pros:Even and consistent toasting.Simple, intuitive one-knob operation.Cool-touch exterior (a nice safety feature).Sleek, modern design.Cons:A bit pricier than other toasters.If you're tired of toasters that underperform, I highly recommend the Zwilling Enfinigy. Finally a toaster that works

Returned- straight out of the box. For the price this is extremely poorly made. The supposedly stainless is a painted-on surface, the whole top part is thin plastic. Nope! not for 170$ bucks, this is a 40 dollar item-tops. (had a ZWILLING coffee maker that I loved & lasted a good 15 years) I to refuse to pay top dollars for junk. Its lightweight plastic construction will not provide durability. A GIANT NO! on this purchase. Returning immediately.

Works great. Best toaster I have had including ninja xl toaster oven and Breville toaster previously. I am learning the settings quickly but it toasts evenly on both sides, the pop up feature when done keeps me from having to use bamboo tweezers to pull the toasted/warmed/defrosted item out of the toaster when done. I have done two halves of frozen Belgian Waffles I make on the warm cycle and artisan bread just now. It is the most uniform coverage toaster I have ever had. not overly complex but it works like a gem. All I want. Best in my long life as toasters go...by far.

4 stars only becuz we had to order it twice; the first one we received had clearly been used — was dirty on the outside and bottom. That said, LOVE at first bite! Had a 2-slice toaster dating back to 1960s/1970s, but my the remodel of our kitchen called for updating ALL our appliances, including the toaster, which we upgraded to a 4-slice model so my gf and I could actually sit down to mid-morning coffee & toast snack. That, and with this roaster we can each toast our bread to our individual preference for dark or lightly toasted — this is the absolute best feature to this workhorse! The crumb tray at the button snaps out with by gently pressing at the bottom, so cleanup is a breeze. Finally, the dark charcoal gray finish is so sleek & beautiful, no need to hide this away in an appliance cabinet, it sits proudly on our kitchen counter! Do not hesitate to buy this toaster, you will not regret it!

I had hoped a 100 dollar toaster would toast both sides the same. This is the 4th toaster I have bought with the hope of getting back to the days when a toaster toasted both sides of the toast the same. I have concluded that regardless of the brand or price, the guts of the toasters are coming from the same manufacturer. I assume that manufacturer is overseas. Just another decline in American standard of quality.This is an update..... I have been using this $100 toaster for a few weeks. It is no different then the 4 less expensive toasters I have tried over the past year. I am in my 60s and have a life time of experience with toasters. I have never experienced such garbage in toasters today. Every week I throw out more toast because the thermostats do not adjust. I can be on the same setting and it either under cooks or over cooks. I can turn the setting down and it overcooks more than the higher setting. Always, one side cooks more than the otherside. The guts of the toasters are the same for any toaster today and the guts are horrible. What a financial opportunity for a competitor manufacturer to bring back the toaster technology of years past.

Sturdy, practical and consistent toasting. As expected from German small kitchen appliances. Well thought through details that makes your life easier from the slot design, to release mechanism and crumble drawer. Worth any penny.
