Once single file exceeds aroud 5GB, transfer speed would drop from 150-180m/s to 10-20m/s, which is kind of weird.

Loved the body and i am using it regularly still i will say SanDisk is much faster than this ❤️

I use it to back up my pharmacy patient files every night. I use 7 of these. One for each night of the week. We write about 60G of data every day, not just an incremental backup and do a verification on the backup. It's been about a year and a half, data integrity is still good. No errors. Not the fastest usb key to write to, but slow and steady makes for reliability.

Good: People have claimed that they've run over this thing with a truck without damaging it. I haven't put it to such an extreme test, but I believe them. Screw cap makes it robust and genuinely waterproof, plus reducing the chance of accidentally losing it. I've used faster USB3 drives, but this has reasonably fast read/write speeds. Good price for what you get. Bad: The cylindrical form factor makes it awkward on a keychain; this was not my intended use so not a problem for me. I was going to write that 16GB is rather low capacity at a rather high price by modern standards, but I just pulled up the product description and discovered that they're now offering up to 256GB in the same package (including a 64GB for 50 cents more than the 16GB version; grr.) The 256GB version is a few bucks more than the ruggedized drive I have on my keychain; the added water resistance (mine just has a conventional press-on rubber cap) is probably worth the price difference. Bottom line: This thing looks like it's just about indestructible, and the higher-capacity drives now exist and sell for a decent price. If you need a flash drive that can withstand a lot of abuse, this is it. Five stars.

I bought the 3.0 one back in 2013, and it has been run over and dropped quite a few times. Has not failed to this day. I needed a rugged USB for a client and knew exactly what to pick. Top quality.

Ich habe den selben USB- Stick schon seit Jahren im Einsatz. Ein tolles Teil. Schnelle Datenübertragung, und die Materialqualität ist meines Erachtens sehr gut. Von Beginn an trage ich ihn täglich mit mir herum. Stürze und Feuchtigkeit sind kein Problem. Nur die Gummiringe, welche den Aufprall auf dem Boden abfedern sollen, sind lose aufgeschoben und verabschieden sich irgendwann. Wenn man diese noch entsprechend verkleben würde, dann hätte ich nichts zu bemängeln. Trotzdem kann ich den USB- Stick nur weiterempfehlen.
