LÄRABAR - Original Fruit & Nut Bars Box Cashew Cookie 16

The Larabar Cashew Cookie is my favorite way to start the day, usually with a cup of coffee. I’ve been enjoying this flavor — though I’ve tried many others — for over 10 years, and it’s exactly what I need first thing in the morning. The bars are simple, made with just 2–3 ingredients, but the Cashew Cookie flavor stands out as my favorite. A tip: refrigerating the bars makes a big difference in texture — not required, but I prefer them cold. Room temperature works too, but the refrigerated version is much better in my opinion. As someone with so much experience with this bar :), I’ve noticed that they are not always the same consistency — sometimes a bit harder or softer — but I like this, as it indicates to me that they are not overly processed and have natural variability. I’ve recommended these bars to many friends. While they like them, they tend to get bored after a couple of weeks — not me! My kids are allergic to cashews, so I’m lucky to still enjoy these around them. Honestly, I think I should be a Cashew Cookie Larabar mascot! Highly recommend for anyone who loves simple, flavorful nut bars.

As I am gluten and lactose intolerant these looked worth a try. I have found that they do not upset my cranky stomach and have the definite advantage that they are really scrummy.

I just received these 08/07/2025. I like Larabars, and this product is my favorite, having only two healthy ingredients, so that's an automatic five star. One box looks new, 11/12/2025 expiration date, and the second box has only one slightly dinged corner, 02/20/2026 expiration date. However, I also ordered two other types of Larabars from this same seller on the same date, and those came in battered and previously opened boxes. As larger packages of these bars have disappeared my local Target store, and because this seller's price is excellent, I'll probably reorder in the future. But I suspect these are store returns, and that the product may arrive with the box damaged. Update: In October 2025 I ordered more of these from the same seller. All the boxes were unopened and undamaged. Perhaps the problem with the above order was due to the way they were packaged for shipment, or rough handling by the shipper.
