Who ever knew I would be spending my 20s writing a review on a trashcan, lol. I bought this all the way back in 2018, y'all. It's now 2025 as I write this review. I have had this trashcan for literally 7 years! IT STILL WORKS! I'm starting to think this trashcan will last a lifetime at this point. My grandma was envious of this touchless trashcan, so she bought a cheaper brand. Let me tell you, everyone in the house has complained about that trashcan. It didn't work consistently when you would wave your hand over it. But this brand works EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail and has for six years! It's great at detecting motion and will always open. It stays open and doesn't try to shut on your hand either. Great, reliable, and consistent brand. It keeps the odors in the trashcan and not smelling up the whole house. It's easy to tuck the trashbag in so the trashbag doesn't look tacky sticking out around the rim. Sometimes I have a difficult time taking the trashbag out due to the slim size of the trashcan though. I'm now starting to need a bigger trashcan, so I'm probably going to upgrade soon. But this trashcan works, and I kind of feel sad that I might leave it behind. Would definitely buy from this brand again with how reliable and long-lasting this trashcan has been!

I bought this to use as a diaper bin and it's been a true blessing. Even with it filled to capacity we only smell the nastiness for the brief moment the lid is open. Otherwise you'd never know the horrors that awaited inside lol! It's been running strong on the same batteries since I bought it. Bags are easy to replace and the removable bag ring is fantastic. With the top back on the bag is secure and completely concealed. I'm not sure how much the charcoal filter helps, but my main concern was odor when the can is closed, and for that purpose it works perfectly! As an added bonus the unit looks fantastic! Update: I've been using this daily for six months or so and it is a workhorse! Still running on the same batteries I purchased when I received it and blocking diaper odor just as effectively! Update: So, after working perfectly since last November, a couple weeks ago the lid decided to give up on me suddenly and completely! I figured the batteries had finally died, so I swapped in a fresh set and nothing happened. No light, no movement, nothing at all. I almost decided to just write it off, but figured I might as well try customer care. I sent them an email with a screen shot of my original order and description of the problem. To my pleasant surprise I got an email back within 24 hours with an incident number and instructions to call in for service. I called in thinking they were going to want me to send in the lid, but they surprised me by saying their policy had changed and I just had to pay a $9.95 service/shipping and handling fee and a new lid would be sent out. They didn't want the old one back at all. Since it would cost more than that to just ship the original lid in to them I had no issue paying the fee. About a week later I received my brand new lid! I really can'take say enough about the quality customer service I received from itouchless. It was all very simple and because of that I'm leaving my review at five stars! This is an awesome garbage can. We purchased two; one for garbage, one for recycling. The square shape makes them fit snuggly together. They look good, and are a perfect size for our kitchen. They work perfectly, when they work. We have had to repurchase about three new cans at full price because the top stops opening and cannot be fixed. You can't buy just the top, you have to buy a whole new unit. According to reviews, this is not uncommon, and mechanical people say the part that breaks is a plastic part that can't be fixed. This is such a a good garbage can that we have repurchased the whole thing several times, but we are now at our limit. Crossing our fingers that the latest two keep working.

After a nightmare eighteen months with a Morphy Richard* product I was reluctant to spend money again. I did a lot of research in reviews and this one was coming out ahead - although not the cheapest it was a good buy. It is several months down the line now (on transformer) - did not try batteries yet. The bin sensor is very good - it just works every time - closes very fast - seems to be less odor than usual. Bags are very easy to find and fit very well - plus inexpensive Very happy with this bin has not missed a beat

expensive but worth buying , also can be powered through adaptor 6 volts, so no more expenses for 'D" type alkaline cell which almost costing 240/- Rs.. pair.
