Polk Audio DB5252 DB+ Series Component Speaker System for Car & Marine - 5 1/4" Car Speakers, 2-Way, 4-Ohm Impedance, 50-23kHz Frequency Response, Polypropylene Woofer Cone, Separate Silk Dome Tweeter

Put these in my Jeep TJ, 2005. I had to get a bracket to switch from 4x6 stock to these, but the round component are better. I had to find a pod to put the component tweeter on the dash. With the top down, wind, having the tweeter up on the dash is HUGE. Makes an amazing difference, and they are just running off the Head Unit. I"m getting an amp to properly power these, and I can't wait. I also put in a 10" powered sub woofer and the TJ has transformed.

For the price they are fine. Wish the tweeters sounded better.

I love these speakers. I installed in a 2015 f250. I did not have a separate tweeter included in the factory system. This brightened up the whole system. I had a set of 4x6 kickers already installed but this Polk set up sounds so much better. I had to add some sail panels to enclose the tweeter but it was worth it.

Great sound, but I did have to do some cutting under the dash in our Jeep TJ for them to fit. The aluminum mounting bar had to be removed but the fit was perfect once removed. I used large bolt cutters. Definitely want to use an amp for these guys. Factory wattage won’t due. Perfect for a Jeep.

They only got one star because they forced me to. Do not buy the specs are a lie they're trash all they're going to do is blow they suck they can't handle no bass and the highs sucks the speaker suck and they're made out of thin rubber. Update for what is worth I contacted Polk about the warranty and I told Polk that all the speakers was busted they said throw the old ones away and we will send a new set out right away the end I was talking with someone within 5 minutes of the phone call they made it really really easy so I'm going to have to give Polk an extra star even though the product fail. Furthermore I prefer and only going to look for Pope products now that I know they have a great warranty and customer service cuz that's very important to me. It lets me know they believe in their products. Just to be fair the mids and the highs were good but it couldn't handle no base.
