Tricky!
Oh my this was tricky to get into!! Mind you we saw that as a good thing at first as it kept our son busy for ages trying to free Ryan!We soaked it in water which softened it slightly it would be impossible otherwise. Itâs made of very tough cement style stuff so best put it in an old tub when breaking into it as it does get messy. You really have to dig and scrape at it for ages! Itâs not like similar toys weâve had like this that were a sort of hard sand this is much tougher! Took a lot of effort with the mini tool included and we had a go to help dig it out too as my son got bored after a while and said it was too hard but desperately wanted the figure.Nice pirate Ryan inside which my son was very pleased with but think they should have made it a little easier for kids!!!

Avoid this like the plagueâŠ
I understand a lot of this stuff is about digging for treasure but, with this item, the pirates really have won the dayâŠ!This thing is encased in a brick. I donât care what the description says, itâs a tiny plastic toy (just the one) encased in a brick.Itâs the best part of ÂŁ30 too. Thatâs right, ÂŁ30 for a tiny (no more than 3ins) plastic toy, that is delivered inside a concrete block. They give you a plastic spoon for your kid to break apart a sodding brickâŠAs you will see from the picture, I had to resort to a hammer and screwdriver and it still took forever. For a 3ins plastic penguin.Donât buy thisâŠjust scroll pastâŠmove onâŠBurn the ÂŁ30 if you want, itâll be more fun than breaking into a brick with a plastic spoonâŠ

Should have read the reviews first
As if getting stiffed by Ryan and his world with the price of the stuff (bravo by the way) this âtoyâ really is the icing on the cake.Never will I purchased a Ryanâs World toy again without reading EVERY SINGLE WORD in the description. If you want a kitchen full of dust and footprints and only ONE toy that your kid canât be bothered with one itâs out, then this is the purchase for you.If not, avoid like the plague.Iâm off to clean my kitchen as itâs now full of dust and footprints.
