Amazing for vlogging with iPhone
It is amazingly compatible with a lightning iPhone. Your cover has to be a little thin or soft, otherwise the connector comes out with the slightest force or doesn't go in, in the first place. Because of some software issue, you need to turn on the Rode mic app every time you connect it to the phone, to avoid distortion of audio that is being recorded. You will see once you buy, but it is not a big deal. Works really well and reduces unnecessary noise. However, it is uni-directional, so don't expect it to capture sounds that are NOT coming from straight ahead of the mic.

Das Rode VMML Mikrofon ist sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, hat einen 3,5 mm Kopfhöreranschluss, einen Clip, ein Windfell und macht hervorragende Aufnahmen an meinem iphone X.Das iphone X hat schon ein extrem gutes Mikro an Bord, was in vielen Situationen völlig ausreichend ist und für Video oder Tonaufnahme (z. B. Podcast oder Hörbuch Produktion) durchaus brauchbar ist.Im direkten Vergleich scheint man zunächst enttäuscht zu sein aber spätestens bei Außenaufnahmen mit dem beiliegenden Windfell, in Umgebungen mit schwierigen Bedingungen (Hall oder Umgebungsgeräusche) sticht das Rode deutlich hervor. Außerdem hat das Richtmikrofon in vielen Situationen einen hohen praktischen Nutzen und punktet mit klaren Stimmen und verzerrungsfreien Aufnahmen.Mit der kostenlosen Rode App hat man ein einfaches Tool, easy-to-use und mit tollen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten wie Qualität oder Audioformat!Eine absolute Empfehlung, auch für das hervorragende iphone X!
