Why does authors feel like it's ok to alienate a group of people? This is the 3rd book I read from this author and was so glad there was no political undertones. Then the 3rd book in the series we have to read "who goes to church anymore anyway." Really? Why? Yes some people do go to church and believes in god! I guess the best seller list New York Times obviously loves this? Why else go there? It would be nice to enjoy a book without dealing with an authors agenda. Don't say i didn't warn you.

#Teamnick or #TeamCharlie Who will Tess choose???
Lindsey Kelk does it again with her third installment in the A Girl series. A Girl's Best Friend begins six months after What A Girl Wants ends - and at a wedding (no spoilers in this review).I adore the A Girl series, as Lindsey's writing is so spot on. She makes you feel like you should be part of the gang, right there in the action. #TeamNick or #TeamCharlie - this book has you guessing which way Tess will go. Personally, I was #teamnick all the way - from the very beginning their chemistry was off the charts. Charlie felt like a safe bet - if you have loved someone for 10 years and they haven't returned the feelings...I also have to add a huge thank you to Lindsey for bringing in Angela, Jenny, and the girls from the I Heart Series. Perfect!! Loved it!!!I would recommend this book to anyone who adores RomComs, Chick-Lit - as this book, and series, has it all!

Disappointing
I have to be honest - I REALLY liked the first book, I enjoyed the second book, but this one, for me, seemed to fall apart. It was as though the editor had checked out. The plot was all over the place. Nick is barely in the book - and the premise that keeps them apart is nonsensical. There were things that were supposed to be funny that just fell flat for me. And there seemed to be an entire chapter missing (??) after 20 - without giving it away, there is a set of facts that is never explained, although we can guess, but I was really put off by that. It almost felt like when you know there must be some inside jokes going on, but you're on the outside. Bummer.

Fun!
I binge-read all 3 books in this series. After reading the first, “What a girl Wants”, I couldn’t wait to find out what happens in the lives of Tess Brooks and her devoted friends. I didn’t learn a thing from the hours invested in ready this series but I enjoyed myself immensely and recommend the series to you if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing read.

LOVED ALL 3 BOOKS
I loved this story that was told through out the 3 books & couldn't wait to finish them to find out what happens. I was really happy with the ending, especially after investing the time with the 3 books. It's a nice, easy, & fun read that you won't want to put down! I love reading books that allow you to actually picture the characters & these books did it well. Buy the series, they are worth it.

Great book
I liked this book a lot! The story was cute and it was a quick read. The only think is there are quite a few typos and that drives me insane! But love the love story!

I Loved Tess
And her merry band of mischief makers. These books were very hard to put down. I can't wait to read more of her books and I am going to miss Tess and Amy!

Everything I love in a book is in A Girl's Best Friend. Everything!
A Girl's Best Friend was one of my most expected books of the year. I absolutely love Lindsey Kelk's books, every one she publishes is even better that her last one and this one didn't disappoint at all. After leaving us with a huge cliffhanger in What a Girl Wants, Tess is back with her crazy adventures and her indecisive love life. This time we travel with her to New York! For Christmas! Could this get any better? YES! Actually, it does. Who lives in New York? The one an only Angela Clark and her best friend (I wish she was my best friend too) Jenny Lopez! Yes, people, these fantastic characters from the I Heart Series make an appearance in the book! It's a fact that the I Heart Series is my all time favourite series (it's actually a draw with The Shopaholic Series) but! There might be a new contender. This series started really well with About a Girl but it has just escalated so much that it has become a new favourite. Everything I love in a book is in A Girl's Best Friend. Everything! Also, I really enjoy that Lindsey writes a prologue with an scene from the story that is supposed to happen a lot later. You start reading and you are like, what? How is this happening? Which make me want to read non-stop until I know more. In fact, I devoured this book in a day and was left with a huge book hangover. For days I couldn't stop thinking about Tess and Nick, and Tess and Charlie, and Amy and Al and Kepipi (#TeamKepipi forever). This is a book I will re read again very soon (probably this Holidays) to enjoy again all the details and basically because I'm not ready to say good-bye to my friends...A Girl's Best Friend is the equivalent to a delicious hot chocolate with lots of cream and marshmallows in bookish form. One not to miss this Christmas.

Another great one from Lindsey
I, like all of Lindsey’s other fans, was looking forward to this book immensely. I couldn’t wait to get back into Tess’s crazy life and finish the whole Team Nick/Team Charlie debate – although Nick will always be my guy – makes love-heart-in-eyes face. The prologue threw me for a loop. At first I was like wait, wait just one minute what’s going on here?! But then it all became clear! After those first few pages I was effortlessly engrossed in Lindsey’s writing once again. Every other page had me laughing and at times I was on the verge of tears. Tess’s life has one big chaotic whirlwind from assuming her flatmate’s identity and job to making a name, her own name, for herself and completing her adopted family circle. One thing missing was her man – but which man was the question.Tess finds a way to make Christmas in New York happen. I’m so glad that this story was set in New York primarily because Lindsey and writing about New York go so well together. Lindsey’s I Heart series begins in New York and I loved going back there with her. I also loved the fact that we got to catch up with I Heart series main characters Angela Clarke and Jenny Lopez. If ever there were three characters who were destined to be besties it’s these three. As usual chaos reigns where Tess is involved but she just about manages to turn things round for herself. The ending to this book is probably one of my favourite endings of all times. It just seemed absolutely perfect although I don’t want to ruin it by revealing anything more about it.There are a few things that keep me coming back to Lindsey’s writing over and over again. Firstly the fact that every single time I read a new book of hers I am completely transported to wherever the location is. I never feel like I’m just reading about a place, I can visualise it and I feel like I’m experiencing it first-hand. Secondly is Lindsey’s sense of humour and sharp wit. It feels so aligned with my own and my sister’s that it makes me want to be BFFs with her main characters. I would love to meet Tess in real life, Angela and Jenny too. I can’t wait for whatever’s next from Lindsey.

I loved loved loved the ending of this book. I was literally so happy with it.
I have been waiting since I finished the last page of What A Girl Wants for this book and I gobbled it up like I would chocolate cake. (For those of you that don't know me well, that means I basically inhaled it)This is the third book in the A Girl Series and it was just as fantastic as the other two. After 2 fabulous jobs with Al (Bertie) Bennet, Tess has hit the ground with a pretty large bump. While she's a pretty decent photographer no one will hire her because they have never heard of her. So Tess decides to hop on a plane (or two) and meet up with her bestie Amy in NYC.I adored 'being' back in NY. (by being I mean through Lindsey's writing). my absolute favourite scenes where the ones with the I heart gang. I've been hoping and praying for a meet between these characters since I started this series. I just knew that they would be such bloody good friends if they got the chance to meet.I loved loved loved the ending of this book. I was literally so happy with it.I adore Lindsey's writing style and as soon as she releases a book I always end up dropping everything to read it, even if I'm in the middle of another book.I really hope this isn't the end for Tess and the gang and I would really REALLY love a book about Amy...(hint hint Lindsey). I look forward do Lindsey's next book whoever it is about.

I Heart this book
i absolutely love Lindsey Kelk's books and this one was no different. The I Heart series were amazing and I loved every one so part way through this one and recognising that Angela and Jennifer were part of it I was excited but wasn't quite sure it would work. Oh boy was I wrong. They were introduced in a way that as I was reading I thought, i recognise that name and they were written in so they didn't overshadow Tess. Brilliant writing as always and I can't wait for the next instalment. Happy reading. You won't regret this purchase.

Loved it!!!!
I have been waiting for this next instalment of the about a girl series since the last book came out, and I was not disappointed. This book has everything you need ...romance, humour, laugh out loud moments, and things that happen that have probably happened to you which make you smile. I especially loved the incorporation of the characters from the I heart series. I would recommend this book wholeheartedly and I couldn't put it down once I started. The ending was as I hoped it would be too. Bring on the next book is all I can say, can't wait.

Just loved this series, I thought the I heart book were good and loved everyone, but these were fantastic. With the will they won’t they or who will Tess choose. Romance and fun with lots of laugh out loud one liners. I love Lindsey use of made up words cockwomble being my favourite 😂. Want more 🤞🏼
