Q: Is it compatible with Xbox one?

No, you use your cell phone with this device. You have to place it inside of a compartment and download vr compatible apps to use it. Also, if your phone doesnt have an aux, the speakers won't work. You'll need Bluetooth head phones instead.

my phone has a 6.2 screen and it fits with some extra room so it probably would

I purchased this item for my grandchildrent (ages: 11 & 7). The headset is quality made but unfortunately the downloaded games are not. We downloaded the iCade iOS games and they were of poor quality, minimum interaction. I did return both items the next day after Christmas. Following is in the description of the item: "Search iCade games from Apple Store to install and play them on your iOS devices, but due to the iOS system sealed reason, it will not fits for non-iCade games. 2. For Android system Phones, this controller could do below remote controlling: 1). Adjusting and muting volume; 2). Playing video or music; 3). As a shutter for selfie or taking photo; 4). E-book flip in iReader such as kindle, nook, ppt; 5). Mouse operation; 6). Fully remote control functions will be available in VR games
