Thanks for your interest.The ME 2 is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone with a frequency response of 30.....20000 Hz (ME 2-US) or 50…..18000 Hz (ME 2-II), and a diameter of 6,5 mm (ME 2-US) or 10,5 mm (ME 2-II). The MKE 2 is an omnidirectional sub miniature lavalier microphone with a frequency response of 20 - 20000 Hz +- 3 dB, and a diameter of 4.8 mm without a cap, 5.8 mm with a frequency cap in place. If these are being connected to an EW 100, 300 or 500 body pack transmitter, you will want the -EW versions that have a 3.5mm headphone jack.We are an authorized dealer buy with confidence.

it only come with one for the receiver and one for the transmitter

Q: Does this include the XLR cable to plug the receiver into a headphone jack?

Yes it does, as well as a cold shoe mount to hold it in place if your camera has a built-n shoe adapter.

Q: how long does the battery last?

I can get 12-14 hours I think on transmitter. Only 3ish hours on the receiver. I have an extra battery and alsocsn plug it in if I'm running for several hours.
