Puzzle itself is nice. But unfortunately, some pieces were missing when it arrived. ( Or worst, originally it comes with few pieces) which makes it impossible to finish even one puzzle properly.

I love this, and more importantly so does my son. We purchased this when he was 4 and he's now 5 and still likes to play with it. Yes, you have to peel the magnetic pieces off and stick them to the back of the tiles, which will take all of 5 minutes. No big deal in my opinion. The one thing that I didn't like was that is many cases you have the exact amount of pieces you need to complete the puzzle. This means that if you lose a piece (which we did), you might not be able to complete it. It also means that 2 kids can't play at once. I only have one but I could see how that could be frustrating if you had 2 kids who had to take turns. I do believe however that you can purchase extra pieces, so that might be worth doing if it's going to be a shared toy. Overall, I still think it's great and will keep kids challenged and occupied for a while.

I started buying these to help keep grandkids busy and to engage their minds in something. It's a great tool. I would recommend it for any children old enough not to put the small pieces in their mouths. I have the magnetic kind and the one that's not. I would recommend the magnetic because your not always having to readjust the pieces. They move too easily, especially with little hands, when they're not magnetic. It only takes a few minutes to stick the magnetic pieces on the backs. I would recommend buying extra magnetic pieces because it seems impossible not to lose a few. With my 3 and 4 year old grandchildren I always work it with them so it can be a teaching time about shapes also and that way they're less likely to end up tossing them around. It would be a great travel toy.

First let me say there is NOTHING wrong with this product its just that my kids (2 girls) have never warmed up to it. They love to draw and create but this one just never appealed to them. I love it and I probably made the mistake of buying something I would have loved as a kid instead of something they would love.

The only my concern was the packaging of this toy. First order came damaged, the package must have dropped and toy metal box was dent. I could not request replacement, so I have to sent back to amazon.com and could not re-ordered from the same site. I have to re-ordered from amazon.ca and also this toy was not adequately packaged, came in the bubble envelope and the metal box was slightly bent. This time damaged was small enough that I can keep this order.
