Translucid yes. Transparent no. They tend to add a yellowish tint to your product. If you are looking for something that won't change the color of your designs and that is transparent (clear) this is not the right product for you. If you don't mind (or if you want) a yellowish color tint then this is the right product for you. I think the color comes from the glue they use. Personally I found that pictures suffered due to the added color.

Q: I have created an ID that cannot be shortened to a credit card size. It is 4" long and 2 1/4 wide. Need holograms & PVC card to these measurements?

both the holograms and the pvc cards are easily trimmed, you can cut the hologram with scissors before applying. the PVC cards are just as strong as your Costco card or whatever so you can cut that with a paper cutter or a big pair of scissors....or you can just make an ID that fits a regular card and hologram save yourself some trouble. :)
