Q: What is the whole process of making sourdough bread from this?

This container is great fpr allowing the sourdough mixture to rise.. the process involves adding a 1/2 cup of flour and 1/4 cup pf water allowing the mixture to sit out at room temperature all while allowing the mixture to start bubbling and rising and adding the mixture of flour and water for a process of a week. This container is a great size for this i just found it difficult to stir since the sides are square... have fun making sourdough hope this helps

Q: Does this kit come with the the 2 strip magnets and 2 thermometers pictured?

The thermometer adheres well, there was only one magnetic strip and unfortunately it did did not stick well.

Q: Is this dishwasher safe?

Hand wash only using the provided brush. It could melt in the dishwasher.

Q: What is the 4" long white plastic 'stick' supposed to be used for? I cannot figure this out. Other than that the X3 model is a pretty nice purchase.

It's a 4 inch pen used to mark the 'stick-on chalkboard' label provided.
