I think the price is a little much but that seems to be the case with everything these days. But learning resources never disappoints with quality. Their toys are sturdy and appealing and these animals are the perfect size for little hands. I got these to replace the cheap animals that came with my son's Melissa and Doug barn. He's two and loves that each "mommy" has a "baby"
