Hi. The dolls open easily, and you have six dolls. You can open all except the last one, the smaller one does not open because it does not have any doll inside. I hope IT helps you

Yes, the smallest one is very tiny! Just a tad bigger than a good and plenty candy. I do not recommend this for a toddler.
