I had never heard of a tea infuser mug. When I learned about them, I liked the concept and wanted one for myself. This mug is fabulous. I will never be without one. Great features of this particular model are: 1) The clear glass that allows me to see the color and amount of tea. This helps me judge the state of steeping. 2) The excellent metal basket for holding loose tea or a tea bag, or tea with some add-ins like a slice of lemon. The holes are small and I believe you could even brew coffee in this, though I have not tried it. 3) The metal lid that helps keep the tea hot for an amazingly long time, and which serves to hold the basket when the tea is ready to drink. This is a great product and I may give some as gifts. The person that introduced me to infuser mugs has a ceramic model with large holes in the basket. Small bits of tea leaf enter the tea mug through these holes. The metal basket in the Ecooe model I'm reviewing is better than that. It is also better than our old egg style infuser because the holes in that infuser are much larger. Other features: Cleanup is easy too. And it looks great.

I absolutely love this tea mug. The borosilicate glass feels sturdy yet lightweight, and it doesn’t retain odors or stains. The stainless steel infuser is fine enough for loose-leaf tea and easy to clean. I also appreciate the lid—it helps keep the tea hot while it steeps. The size is perfect for a generous cup without feeling bulky. I use this daily and it still looks brand new. Highly recommend for tea lovers!

I love brewing my loose leaf tea in this mug. It is the simplest 1 cup solution that I found. I actually appreciate that the glass is single walled, that way it cools down within a reasonable time frame. The handle is cool to the touch even if the cup contains boiling water. The only improvement I would ask for is an ultra fine mesh screen. The included filter is good, no tea leaves get through, however, small debris and dust does get through. It's perfectly fine to drink like this, but sometimes I filter it back through an ultra fine screen to remove all impurities.

This cup is now my go-to for all hot and cold stuff like coffee, tea, oatmeal, desert etc. The handle is roomy and comfortable. The glass is not too thin nor thick, light in the hand but I don't feel like I have to be super careful about breaking/chipping it. It can go from the refrigerator right into the microwave. The cylinder shape makes it feel sturdy as it does not tip over easily. It holds a little more than a regular cup. Even though the strainer's mouth is the same diameter as my two other ones, it has a narrow brim which actually makes it wider and easier to pour into and out of. The cup is functional, versatile and good looking.
