Q: Has anyone experienced the peg coming off? It is NOT a quality problem, but I need to know how to fix it. Peg and spring are separate from axis.

We had the same problem occur with ours. A rubber o-ring should be in groove around the top of the shaft. The one on ours had broken and came off. I bought a replacement o-ring at Ace Hardware for $1.40.

the flute never touches the metal part its firm foam.fits any flute.

Q: Will this work with a piccolo trumpet? It seems a bit long.

This stand works for my Stomvi piccolo Trumpet with no issues at all. Stomvi’s are identical to Shilke P4, so I would expect this stand to work on all similarly styled trumpets.
