Great brain break, team-building book. Students enjoy the activities. They are quick and engaging. This belongs in all elementary classrooms. So much better than doing breaks on a screen all the time. Many breaks have students partner or group up.

I love this book! My students love the energizers in the book. It is also a plus that some of these are on youtube with the author performing the energizers. These are absolutely great for brain breaks with my kindergarten classrooms. My kids love the songs and it gets our class energy going greatly! Great resource to use with a responsive classroom model, I use these in my kindergarten classroom. However, the book is great for multiple age groups.

Fantastic Book! It has a lot of great ideas. Some of the things you look up can be found on YouTube as a great demonstration portion.

There are several great ideas for classes to enjoy.

The activities in this book are great for elementary teachers to use as movement breaks or for during Morning Meeting (Responsive Classroom). Pros: -Lots of activities to choose from -The activities work as explained- they help energize/refresh students -Most are very quick to do, so they won't take up too much instructional time Cons: -Activities vary in length and difficulty, so many may not apply to certain grades or may take too long -If you own several other Responsive Classroom books, you may already know/have many of these activities- There may not be much new here for you. Overall: -Buy it without a doubt if you don't already own any other Responsive Classroom books. If you own other activity/greetings books, you may be disappointed that this won't offer you too much that is new.

My students LOVE doing these activities. The "Energizers" get students moving and build in phonemic awareness at the same time. I have recommended this book to many teachers. It is well worth the low price as it is FULL of great activities!!

fantastic book - easy to use and adapt through a big range of ages. I use it most weeks during my teaching to fill in time slots. I like that I can turn to a page and most activities need no prep work and can be used straight away.

Enjoy this book but haven't used it much to give it a full review. Does have some handy ideas for waking up and engaging pupils.
