Console Armrest for Mini Cooper Coupe R50 R52 R53 R56 R57 R58 F55 F56 F57 Countryman (All Black, D1)

As others have mentioned, if installed by just sticking it into the cupholder it's too wobbly to be useful. In order for it to be fairly immobile, I had to stick pretty much all the little spacing cushions they give you directly in (around the circumference of) the cupholder itself, then really jam the armrest in there. I may or may not be able to get it back out.Otherwise, it's OK quality for the price, and it closely matches the dark vinyl interior of my r53 MINI. It would be nice if its were a little longer.Overall, it's a win I guess--but it doesn't compare with the OEM armrest if you can get one.

this is ready easy to install but it doesn't fit properly into the cup holder. I have used all of the sticky things and it's not helping. this morning I placed on the bottom of the piece that goes into the cup-holder a round, double sided adhesive disc that's normally used for hands free devices. Hopefully that will keep the arm rest from wiggling about so much. fingers crossed. Otherwise, this is a nice and affordable armrest. just wish customers didn't have to modify it for it to fitUpdate 7/1/22 that didn't work, armrest is still unstable.

Easy to assemble and looks great, but it just doesn't fit snugly enough in the rear cup holder no matter how many rubber pads they include. I got mine to stay in place with a wooden wedge but I shouldn't have had to.

It does fit in a 2006 Mini Cooper but it look and feel somewhat cheap.
