My flag flies in the wind and hasn’t bound up once.

A very well manufactured item. It does not come with directions however, on the order page it shows the direction the two units are to be mounted. It's lit perfectly over a 1 inch Pole and tighten down with a set screw with an enclosed Allen wrench. It appears that this will work very effectively. I have a different rotating flag pole and I found that it works well with heavy cotton Flags how are the light nylon flags it does not have the weight to keep the flag hanging. I'm not sure about this one yet but I believe this will be better than my $100 pole on the other flag. I recommend this unit

Our current flagpole that we have kept looping around the pole, and I kept having to unload it around the poll. This became an everyday chore, so I decided to purchase these rings for the flagpole. Our neighborhood is a little bit on the windy side. They were easy to put onto the flagpole. They were easy to adjust the flag. Still does loop around the flagpole, but not as bad. They’re very sturdy. They have good quality. I accidentally dropped it and it was adorable and they worked very well.

As far as being sturdy. Yes they are metal rings that replace the plastic originals. As far as the flag not spinning and wrapping around the pole. Not so much as you can see in the photo. Not a very windy day yet the top ring does not swivel enough to stop the flag from getting wrapped around the pole as claimed in the description.

Work better than original plastic. Flap moves with no problem or binding. Great product.
