Q: What functions can you control with this switch? Doesn't look like you can control volume or switch between songs.

Good grief of course you can’t. It’s just an on/off switch. Your music device....like your phone controls vol and songs played.

Do you have to cut the hole for the switch to fit into there’s no screws it fits with the edge of the hole.

Q: Will this fit in a Nissan 350z blank switch spot?

It will fit with some modifications to the opening. It’s not a true fit
