Q: Is this shampoo sulfate free?

The vast majority of OGX products contain non sulfated surfactants. Beginning in 2014, Vogue created a handful of shampoos - Coconut Water, Vitamin E, Vitamin B5, Eucalyptus Mint, Tsubaki Blossom, Heavenly Hydration Cherry Blossom, Bamboo Fiber Full, and O2 - that contain one sulfate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (ALS). We currently advertise these products as "SLS free" because they do not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). Yes, I've found that my scalp breaks out when I use certain brands, any of the organix shampoos seemed to clear it up for me. They also left my hair smelling great for a long time.

Q: Does this Shampoo have silicon products in it?

I think it does. The listed ingredients show Dimethicone & Amodimethicone. I was told that anything ending in "cone" is silicone-related and can make dry hair worse. I also try to use sulfate-free products. Aveeno makes a really good sulfate-free shampoo, but it doesn't help dandruff the way tea-tree products do. I rotate different shampoos. Hope that helps!
