TT-AII ACT G2 Pacing Digital Timer and Watch, 2nd Generation

We purchased this for our daughter to assist her in keeping a good pace for the ACT. It was recommended by her ACT prep teacher. Although it does not come with instructions they are easy to obtain by googling the instructions. It was easy for her to use from the start. She had no problems with using it at the actual test. It helped her tremendously in keeping a good pace during the long test. She also did the esssy. It is well worth the money to help your child achieve the result of solid test scores. She has even requested to get the SAT watch for the upcoming test. I will write another review and let you know how she likes that one. The company is very professional, helpful, and quick with replies via email. I’m a real Mom of a junior in high school. Feel confident in purchasing this watch. Good luck with tests!

My tutor told me to purchase this watch in addition to my ACT program. The new watch has updated writing, functions for extended time, and can be used for any test. It’s been so important for the ACT. I practiced with it and used it can be used on the real test too. My plan is to continue using it for my school exams and other standardized tests with the custom timer. Awesome product!

I got it fir my kid she said it helped her during exam

My daughter said this watch was extremely helpful in determining if she was adequately pacing herself while taking the ACT. The watch makes no sound and she liked the dashed border showing where she was in the section of the test she was taking. The only drawback was that the G2 did not come with instructions for setting the current time, etc. We were able to download the directions so it was not a problem.

This watch does not do anything more than count down the minutes remaining in a test, and its preset functions do not accommodate extended time/multiple day testing. It does allow you to set a countdown for a non-standard time, but it must be reset each time. There is another watch called Test Buddy that actually tells you which number problem you should be on, and counts up as well as down (so you know you have done x minutes, and have y minutes more to go. I think that would be a more useful watch, and it is a lot cheaper. Unfortunately, it does not allow you to set a non-standard time, which is required for extended time/multiple day testing. Seems like a lot to spend for a watch that just counts down time. That said, I couldn't find anything else on Amazon that would do this without the fear of an alarm going off.

Battery dead when opened box. Had to purchase a new 2032 battery for $5.00 and replace as stated in their FAQ. Shouldn't have to spend the money or time. Helps if you have the very small screw drivers to take apart the back and battery guard. Now it displays (the wrong time) but none of the buttons work to set the timers, etc. Completely useless. Returning.

I like it, but I don't really agree with the price. It has a very simple function and looks very ugly. Most people would probably never use this watch outside of testing for the ACT. The fact that I can probably buy an entire calculator instead of this watch says a lot. The price is inflated solely because of the fact it's an "ACT Watch." This watch didn't really give me any more of an advantage than what I could have gotten with a regular watch; however, other than that, the watch did what it was supposed to do.

This watch is essential for ACT students, especially if you have extended time. The presets for extended time give you a break down of all of the given time for your test. As soon as I started practicing and mastering my pacing with the watch my scores went up. The G1 watch does not have features for extended time, so if you have it then definitely go with the G2 watch.
