Jeereal full grain tooling leather
This piece has a very firm hand. The color is almost a redish burgandy. I made a cover and I am using my journal daily. Recommend this product.

Declining Quality
I usually source my own leather in house but in a pinch, historically, I've found that this leather has been a more than suitable substitute. Over time I've noticed that the quality has become lacking. The leather arrives very rigid and dry, often requiring conditioning before I'm able to work it to avoid cracking. It is also more difficult to burnish and doesn't like to accept the conditioning well. Additionally, when I run needles through the thread holes I punch I notice that the interior of the leather likes to crumble and pill. Going to use the supply I have now and will order another piece for hat patches in a couple of months to check quality, so if you're using this for actual sales orders keep in mind quality has been an issue.
