I am very pleased with this product. Lock code setup took less than 5 minutes! It was easy to install exactly where I wanted it. My reason for purchasing is to have extra security for my mail. I often have to leave for long periods of time and want to know that my personal information is secure. I rate this 5/5 !

Useable but not so easy to install

Easy to install. Due to the top opening is wide enough to access the inside, I’d suggest to install higher up so people won’t attempt to retrieve whatever that gets dropped off.

I’m pretty happy with this but since the door doesn’t close on its own on the top, many times it stays open. They should have made it where it closes on its own with a simple spring or something. This is an issue. Water can get in and it also influences and enables the mailman to leave it sticking out of the top. If it closed on it’s on the mailman will make sure to throw all of the male deep inside of it while letting the door close.

Customized a mailbox stand for my mother, and this mailbox looks great with it! Convenient window to see if you have mail without needing to open the box with the combination first. Big enough opening for mailman to fit mail inside comfortably. The box is also magnet-friendly.

Our USPS person complimented us on them because they make her life easier.

Although it is built well, the purpose of having a security code is to keep mail (and checks) from being stolen. However, you can easily stick your hand through the lift top and retrieve whatever is inside the box. Therefore, I don't recommend this box if you are looking to keep its contents safe.
