Hubby is happy!
My hubby is an engineer and math is "his" thing! I misplaced the first one and couldn't find it so of course he had to order another one! Then, after we get it...we find the first disc. But he says it teaches you how to understand math and gives you an easier way of breaking down problems quicker. He is also a mentor to a 7 year old and gave the original disc to him to help him with doing his math work. So it's simple enough for children to use. I'll use it when my son gets older and may try it for myself but my 'math' days are over so I'll take my husband word for how good it is.

Mental Math
I received the DVD and the little book promptly, new and still in it's new package. It is very helpful the different sessions for the different kind of math you would like to go into. And the little book is very useful because it has a lot of Math exercises that you can do and see if it is done right or not. Good choice to make to learn more about Math. I did received the package right away. I'm happy with their service.

Ways to Speed Your Mental Math by the US's Top Speed-Math Prof (and Mathemagician)
Animated Prof Arthur Benjamin clearly loves Mathematics and people -- the surefire mix for being a good teacher. Though Speed Math is a keen interest, his main field is in another sector of Mathematics.People who go thru this DVD fully will learn many ways to save time in calculating and should gain better understanding of Math.Prof Benjamin makes his subject interesting and clear.

This is great!
I hope I get to use this course. I am too limited and unable to really use it right now. It is a great course that can really help you in the development and understanding of math. I have skimed over it and that helped me enough to really want to learn this course. Most all I have talked to recommend it as well.

This Program Works
I find that this course enhances my self-esteem. I've decided to improve my math skills because doing math mentally has always fascinated me and I wanted to be more adapt at doing rapid calculations without the aid of pencil and paper--or a calculator. This course is working. Thank you Professor Arthur T. Benjamin, your presentation skills are great.

Liked it but...
This book is good but you'll definitely need to write your hypotheses in a notebook to help your brain calculate the answers. To me, it was still hard to get the answers without writing it down on paper.

Great way to learn math in your head
Arthur T. Benjamin is the definitive author to learn how to do math, quickly, in your head. The instructional DVDs are an excellent accompaniment to the book, which has plenty of practice exercises. You just need time and patience to really hone your mental math skills so don't expect to be doing math in your head overnight.
