best thing since sliced bread
sorry no pictures. i installed this in our 43 ft RV, the front top A/C went out. the Back unit could not keep it cool and was running 24 hours a day and RV was running about 87 degrees inside. i bought the OLMO Alpic 12,000 BTU, 110/120V, 17.4 SEER2, Pre-charged Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner, drilled a hole thru the RV above the kitchen window and ran all the hose thru there, sealed up the hole and put the inside unit above the kitchen window. I put the outside unit behind it outside on the trailer rack that is attached to the RV and hooked everything up. this way if i move the RV i don't have to disconnect it. CAUTION....I DID HAVE TO BUY A POWER CORD TO CONNECT TO THE OUTSIDE UNIT TO PLUG IT IN AS IT DOES NOT COME WITH ONE. my neighbor who is a HVAC guy looked it over and gave it his blessing. turned it on and about three hours later the RV was at a steady 73 degrees. going to buy anther one to replace the back unit as it is going out now too. took about 2 hours total from the time i unpacked it and had it running. i consider this an easy install if you have basic knowledge of electric wiring and can turn a wrench, do not forget to open the 2 valves on the outside unit AFTER you hook in the cooling lines, they are covered with a brass nut, take the nut off use a hex tool and back them all the way out and the put the nut back on and turn on unit. it does come with a remote too. in my opinion it is more then worth it, i can but 2 of these units for my RV for less then the price of one RV A/C unit and it keeps it cooler then then and uses less electricity then one ac and they are QUIT i could not even hear it running. I Love it

Brand OLMA?
While I would have been comfortable self-installing the product, I decided to have an HVAC contractor do the install. It is hard to know what brand is what these days. I owned two Daikin Mini Splits for thirteen years decent brand but daikins can be pricey. My observation is that mini split technology has reached a level of reliability and quality across most brands. Honestly I had never heard of the brand OLMO before this purchase, i would buy another unit tomorrow if needed. My installer was skeptical about the brand at first, by the time the unit was set to be turned on I the installer asked where I purchased the unit; it seems he wanted to buy a number of units for his business. The unit turn on first power up, the wall unit is clean and QUIET. I should add that the blower unit copper lines were on the side of shorter than my installer would have liked. I had been using a portal AC to cool my office, the OLMO is soooooo QUIET compared to my old portable.

Very good MiniSplit for the price.
I had never heard of this brand before, but ordered one to give it a try to replace an ancient Sanyo. It is of somewhat more lighter of construction than some others that I have installed, but as it hangs on the wall and is only touched for cleaning that is not a problem. Very quiet and gives a huge temperature differential even on Texas summer days (+95) and below freezing events. The only very minor problems that I have with the box is that the temperature display on the front only changes to the set value when you turn it on, and is so bright that in a bedroom a few strips of blue tape are required so as not to have an unwanted nightlight.

Fantastic
This Mini Split air conditioner is absolutely great. It was quite simple with ease of installation, and it is so quiet that I wasn't sure the inside head unit was actually running. The outside unit was very quiet as well ! I highly recommended this System !!

Fantastic!
This unit is amazing. So quiet! Keeps perfect temperature for heating and cooling. I was amazed that it kept my art studio at a comfy 72 degrees and outdoor temps were freezing! Texas heat, no problem a comfortable 78 degrees or less if you like. In Texas that is very cool. You do need to make sure you have a pressing install it. The directions are a little tricky unless you know what you are doing with wiring.

Does not cool 400 sf garage
Installed with no problem at all. My garage is 400 sf. Outside temp is approximately 102 as I write this. The 12,000 btu unit will not cool down the garage below 81. That is only 21 degrees cooler. My impression was this unit would cool my garage. If this is all the unit will do it should state that the unit will only cool that much. By the way, my garage is fully insulated. Outside walls have R-30 and the attic is the same. If I stand on one side of the garage opposite from the wall unit I cannot feel the cool air. The fan is set to cool and the fan is in the highest position. My neighbor installed a unit last week and it is also a 12,000 btu. It will cool his oversized garage in less than 20 minutes. I wish I had spent more money and purchased a differant brand

No warranty for DIY installs
I did some research and this unit had some good reviews. Was a little difficult with doing install myself. I bought set of AC gages and learned how they worked. Bought vacuum pump too. Will now be able to do car or mini split AC service if needed. Hated the instructions for electrical connection. Cable supplied with purchase didn't match color code on units. I was able to read and understand diagrams in both inside and outside units. Wired correctly and working fine. Biggest downside is NO WARRANTY unless install done by Licensed HVAC installer. BS. I am educated in electronics and mechanical engineering. Was able to work through the speed bumps of poor wiring instructions. One of selling points on Amazon was warranty. Saved money buying the DIY version, but penalized NO WARRANTY for not having paid for installer.

Leaks
Worked great for like a weak, then it started blowing warm air. Had a guy come out and was told there was a leak and he fixed it and refilled the refrigerant which cost like $800. Now its leaking again so im assuming it had multiple leaks from factory, now im spending more than i paid for it just to repair it
