Q: I have an 8 pound yorkie will this be too big for her?

It might be. My dog is 55 pounds and it’s perfect for him.

Q: What size would you get for a husky/shepherd mix? Is this a soft rubber?

I would purchase the large. I have owned Shepherds most of my life, so I can confidently recommend large. This is soft enough for my Newfie to get a little give to it when he bites down on it, it is not hard plastic. This happens to be my Newfs favorite toy. He destroys EVERYTHING but not this toy. I put treats in it like jerky etc. He loves it!!!

Q: what brand or size bully stick fits the small toy?

I honestly do not know. My dog ignores it and nothing I have fits inside it. I am planning on returning it.

Q: Will the petite size greenie fit in the small size toy?

I think it might. The tighter the fit, the more challenge for your dog, so give it a go!
