Winters 2-1/2" Dial Size, Liquid Filled Industrial Pressure Gauge, Brass Internals, 304 Stainless Steel Case, Dual Scale 30" Hg-0-30 psi/kPa, 1.5% Acc, 1/4" NPT Bottom Mount, Pressure and Vacuum Gauge

First off - I paid $13.27 for this gauge in the 2.5" size, with the bottom mounted 1/4" fitting, and the rated 1.5% accuracy. I wanted to state that up front, because I am about to make a case how great a gauge this is for the price - which would all change if they raise the price significantly in the future (which happens all the time). This is still a well made, high quality gauge - and the fact I got it for a price that compares to lower quality gauges only makes it that much better! I searched in a number of places for a 30 psi / 2 bar gauge to help calibrate my new Cremina espresso machine. Most of what was for sale in this price range were "Grade B" gauges, with a 2.5% or worse accuracy promise. I then learned about the availability of "Grade A" gauges, and how they also promised better accuracy. This gauge is considered one of those "Grade A" gauges. The issue was what most were charging for Grade A gauges - I was finding prices of $25 to $50 depending on source and brand of the gauge. Even for this particular gauge here, you could pay a lot more for it if you go elsewhere. The $14 range for a gauge will typically get you Grade B, not Grade A. For example, search "Durachoice" here on Amazon, and you will see a Grade B Gauge for more than this; they are still a decent gauge, but these are better. Note that this is a stainless steel, 304 grade metal gauge - no plastic housing here. The picture here on Amazon (at lease when I bought it) makes it look like a grey painted metal. I don't know if that is just a bad picture, or an incorrect image - but rest assured this is a bright, stainless steel gauge! These gauges work well and are very well made. I would recommend them to anyone looking - especially when you compare the $14 price tag to gauges of equal or lesser quality. Thanks for reading!

Quality meter ... use this to measure the pressure of the hydraulic fluid on my Kubota Tractor. Gets the job done. This meter has better quality and measurements than the meter on a popular videos showing how to increase the Hydro Pressure.

I needed a high pressure gauge, to replace a broken gauge on my scuba tank pressure checker. This worked perfect and is better than the one I replaced. Great price too.

I was looking for an HVAC vacuum gauge. For all the car people out there SAE is different than NPT. My brain translates both to "American" and I was in a rush. I'm just going to use my manifold set to vacuum down my tank. It does look like you can duct tape together some fittings if you really wanna. No shade to Winters this is on me. Just putting it out there for other people to find.

Decent quality. Made in China. Might be the same $10 ones but marked by a different company.

Bought this specifically for suction side of pump station for irrigation system on a golf course. Being able to record negative pressure at full vacuum and a resting pressure is crucial for future troubleshooting. Works great.

I use a vacuum pump connected to a holding plate to secure boards of wood for re-sawing into thin wood. I needed a vacuum gauge that would tell me there was enough vacuum being pulled on the board to make it save to saw without a risk of it coming loose and causing havoc with my saw. This gauge works perfect and lets me know if its safe to saw or not. Very well built too.

Not only are the threads undersized, requiring a ridiculous amount of teflon tape, the gauge leaked oil into face. not the already pre-filled oil, engine oil. it leaked about 60 gallons of oil(out of the top relief hole)over the weekend into my shop. Absolute garbage, i knew in my gut i should have bought a quality US made gauge, and this proves it. Ive only run 200psi MAX. Pissed that i cant return, it'll be absolutely destroyed with a hammer when the quality replacement arrives. Will never buy from them again.
