very short areas
The product claims it will go around 80 feet diameter (around in a circle). I was lucky if it went half that distance no matter what spray pattern I selected. The distance depends a lot on water pressure, but I would expect it to come at least close to what it claims.

My favorite sprinkler
I've had this sprinkler for about 5 years and it works the best for doing areas that need specific coverage (i.e., NOT a complete circle). The spike finally broke today so it's time to get a new one.
