A Fun and Strategic Game for Families, Perfect for Family Play Night, Easy to Learn, Portable for Travel, and Ideal for Players of All Ages

Bought this as a gift for someone who enjoys playing tabletop games and likes cacti. They appreciated the cactus theme, was right on point as I hoped, with the theme found throughout all the game cards. Having played the game among a couple different groups with varying gaming experience, can say it is easy to learn and fun to play. It's not a super long game, can potentially finish before a reshuffle of the deck is even needed, so great if on limited time. The game does have an "Exploding Kittens" vibe to it but friendlier. Even if not a cactus enthusiast, great game to gift and/or play.

My 6- and 8- year olds love this game and request it often. They don’t really “get” the graphics (a cactus Indiana Jones is lost on them, all pop culture references are over their heads), but they enjoy the actual game play. My 8-year old knows enough strategy that he wins often and the 6-year old is fast enough with the STOP cards that she wins often enough too. Everyone loves this games, but my purpose here is to let parents know that kids not only can play it, but LOVE it.

Just started playing this game with our family, great for kids as well but we are all adults and super competitive! Easy to travel with too!

Great game but instructions were missing from the box so had to get rules online. Family member had the game the first time we played it and rules/instructions came with their game

This is a fun game. It plays well, the instructions are clear, and it has good replay value. Points can change at any time, so don’t be too comfortable if you’re winning or too miserable if you’re losing. You actually can’t be miserable while you play this game, because the art on the cards is too adorable! The art is really the shining quality of this game. Most games have the same art for all cards of a single type. This game has a separate cactus cartoon for each card, and drawing a new one is always fun because you don’t know what the cactuses on the card will be up to. One of my favorites is the cactus Batman, which always makes me smile. :)While there is some text on the cards, there are only a few basic types. This means my 5yo is able to remember what they do without being able to read, and we can all play together. The only complication is that some cards end your turn, but that line is underlined at the bottom. So he was able to see the underline and know what it meant, and not being able to read isn’t an issue with this game.Anyway, the game is very cute and also clever, and we’ll be playing it often at our house.
