A well made and designed tool!
This is a simple, but highly effective device. I have used it three times to clean out my gutters, and it has quadrupled my effective reach, and this reduces the number of times needed to re-position my ladder. Further, if your gutters have sections near a power line connection, this device allows you to remain a safe distance away, and then carefully run the tool through the gutter, run it past the accumulated leaves, rotate the diamond end, and pull the debris toward you. Being on a metal ladder, you need to remain two-arm lengths away from any power line running to your home and this device allows that to happen.I read a previous comment from another person who said the diamond end broke off after use. Having used this tool several times now, I cannot see how this happened unless it was jammed very tightly and the person tried to break it free. The amount of force I would think required to break this tip off that way would be enough to risk you losing your balance on the ladder!This is well made, effective, and worth the money.

Great, simple tool. Makes an annoying job easier.
This comes in handy all the time. We started out with the other version that doesn't extend but needed the extra length for some harder to reach areas. Both are extremely helpful when pulling off branches or leaves from the roof that get stuck behind the ice breakers, getting things when you can't get a ladder close enough and clearing out hard to reach (and sometimes gross) gutters. I didn't have the same experience as the other reviewer with locking the extension, ours locks just fine. Great tool!

A major design fail. The thing does telescope, but there is NO LOCKING MECHANISM to hold the extended shape. Result: pressure, or any sort of USE, collapses the tool. This is a larger scale version of a ballpoint pen designed so that it can't keep the point outside of the barrel of the pen.

Very Effective product
This product is very effective, the extended legth helped me reduce my ladder movements to a third of what they used to be. Makes gutter cleaner quicker and safer with less time on the ladder.

Perfect Weight and Length
Easy to extend, and perfect for painting my high ceilings. Not so heavy that it hurts to use!
