Q: What in the world is "c14-c16 olefin sulfonate" and how is it natural?

It is a mixture of long chain sulfonate salts prepared by sulfonation of C14-16 alpha olefins. It can be derived from coconut and produces a copious foam.

Q: Do I need to buy a separate pump for this? And if so what size pump?

You may find it easier to refill a 30 or 32oz pump. Many body washes do come in this size, I just washed mine out and refilled it.
