reusable, removable, converts any existing glasses to reading glasses or increases power of them
IMHO - The amount of light to the eye influences the power you will need, so get a higher power for sunglasses. These can be cut to any shape to reduce the height/width profile to limit field range affected by these lenses. I love my Mai Jim sunglasses and their ability to wrap around and shield the sun from both above the frame and sides, but was unable to read anything with them. I simply cut these lenses to the desired height/width and with a single drop of water apply them to my sun glasses and other eye wear. I wear my sun glasses during all activities, including swimming in both pool and ocean waters with significant time under the water, and so far the lenses have not washed off. However, you do need to rinse the lenses well for storage or you will get a white salt residue on them which reduces clarity. When I buy these lenses I get at least three different powers (e.g., 1.25, 1.50, 1.75) since the power needed will be influenced by the amount of light available to the eye (and sadly age/time - or as arms get shorter, hmmm maybe that is the problem). Therefore I'll add the 1.25 to the clear lenses I wear at work, and either 1.50 or 1.75 to the sunglasses depending on the light and activities. I'm fortunate I see things beyond the length of my arms, but need these lenses for close work, I can comfortably and quickly reuse these and stick them on any existing glasses (or goggles, safety glasses, scuba masks, etc.).I dislike having to carry any bags, purses, etc. which adapting any eye wear for all situations means I can enjoy my activities without having to carry or track multiple pairs of glasses or associated cases. To make life easier, if you think you'll need a particular power for more than one 'stick on' scenario, than buy that many; although they are easy to apply and remove back into the delivery case they came in, life is just easier (especially if you custom cut/trim them for an application) to just leave them on a particular item.Just a bit more information, when you can barely see that magnification circle area on glasses from the eye doctor, they are using the same stick on principal. I saw this when my husband went to the doctor to adjust his new glasses, they just peeled the circle off and 'stuck' a different mag lense on the glass, naturally I'm sure they used something other than a drop of water, but same principal. I tried getting glasses from 'eye glass places' several times but would significantly loose field of vision and felt I went from normal to legally blind - having the ability to trim and shape these lenses allows me to customize applications so I'm not looking through 'power' while walking or driving, etc. If you are really careful while trimming, you can get more than one application from a single set. For me, I only needed a very thin slice at very bottom of sunglasses so that it was not in vision field during normal activities and only enough there to intentionally view from bottom edge.

Review OPTX 20/20 Bifocals
I purchased 3 pairs of these stick on lens based on the reviews I read on line. It appeared from the reviews that I may need to replace the lenses for a couple reasons, falling off resulting in losing one side or the other and applying to a second or third pair of sunglasses. I followed the instructions carefully to apply the lenses to my sun glasses. These lenses are too thick to bend to the shape of my sunglasses and will not stay in place. They are terrible and I plan to return them. Not use able at all. I also purchased a pair of DeWalt bifocal safety sunglasses for 10 bucks that are absolutely amazing! Not very stylish but they are great for fly fishing or working with tools. I then purchased a pair of expensive bi-focal sunglasses, $200.00. The lens is practically invisible, they are also polarized. They do the trick but the bifocal lens is not placed as well as the DeWalt $10.00 pair.

Excellent for scuba masks
I'm currently 52 and simply can't focus on things close to my nose anymore. With the way water plays tricks with light, the issue gets worse underwater. I like to do underwater photography and video, but I wanted to be able to get a closer view of my camera LCD screen, so (despite some reviewers saying they didn't have luck with these stick-on lenses) I decided to give them a try for 15 bucks. Here's what I would tell people to do for better success:1. Despite what's been said, these absolutely will remain stuck, if you do what others have recommended which is to apply them with water and LET THEM DRY WITHOUT MOVING THEM FOR 24 HOURS. You only need a drop of water but make sure that any bubbles are worked out from under the lens, and let any excess water remain & evaporate which may get pushed out from underneath after setting them in place. If applying to a prescription mask which may have a curved surface, I won't predict how well they will stick. But when applied to my atomic aquatics venom frameless and following the instructions, they've stayed stuck now for 8 dives despite multiple applications of defog & mask scrub/cleaner. (I placed mine very low in the mask with the straight edge of the lens lined up against the vee of the mask nose section, so they look kind of like mouse ears. This has worked excellent for bifocal use, and does not obstruct my underwater view objectionably.) I do not let my mask sit in fresh water tubs on boats, but as an initial test, after they'd first adhered but before diving with them, I put some tap water in the mask and soaked overnight. They remained stuck. It's worth mentioning I cleaned the mask surface extremely well before applying them.2. They do indeed seem to fog up more easily than the mask glass, but when I properly applied sea drops defog they stayed clear on *most* dives. When I additionally scrubbed them using mask cleaner (or soft scrub) before applying defog, they seemed to fog even less. Using both products on every dive will be my protocol going forward.3. I bought the 1.5x version and I can focus on most anything right next to my face.Hope this helps --
