It's the gel eye mask, and the black eye mask is another product. They used to sell together, so the reviews were merged by Amazon. Now the black mask is no longer available for sale, so only the gel eye mask.

Q: can you put in microwave?

Not sure if that plastic would hold up to the hot gel Maybe you could put in hot water

As often as you feel you need to use it. There is nothing about this gel eye mask that will cause any harm. Keep it in refrigerator so it's always ready when you need it.
