Q: I already have 2 sets of 4 ohm hertz 6.5 coaxials wired parallel making my amp see a 2 ohm load. if i series these tweeters will my amp see 4 ohms?

Tweeters use a lot less power than the mids; running a 4 ohm speaker in parallel with a 4 ohm tweeter will give you a 2 ohm load - ON PAPER - but in reality the amp is mostly "feeling" the burden of the speaker. I've always ignored the ohm rating of tweeters, and just worry about the larger speaker load.

Q: Can these hook directly up too my alpine amp or do I connect them in line to my speakers?

Hook them inline to your speakers, you're gonna like them!!
