I read some peoples comments or maybe just 1 guy that this bike was too basic. First off, I've been working out for 24 years. Next, I run marathons, and grew up riding bikes and swimming. This book is pretty solid. It's very educational, and if you look to get the most out of a weight training for triathlons book this book seems solid. I don't have anything to compare it too, but am eager. So I am taking what I read and applying it. For instance, 4 sets, 12 reps of the max weight for optimal strength and endurance. I respect this is a small detail, but you actually can compare different methodologies of sets, weights etc and find what's best for you. You learn a crap load too. It's more than basics, it's a book to get you to where you need to be and stay there.

This is a good read, and was the first triathlon training book I read. The best advice I received from the book is to limit strength training sessions to about a half hour per session, twice per week. Anything more is overkill and can easily lead to overtraining.

Il libro è scritto molto bene. Facile da comprendere anche per chi non parla un inglese fluente. Semplice da seguire capitolo dopo capitolo ed estremamente interessante sia per coloro che hanno esperienza in palestra che per chi non ha mai alzato un peso. Caldamente raccomandato!
