My first impression of this phone case is pretty good. It fits the phone well. The buttons on the side are nice and clicky. Tactilely speaking, I like them much better than the softer silicone buttons from my old case. And the main reason I got this was for the card slots. I have a pain condition that makes it hard to carry my purse with my larger wallet in it all the time. So I figured this would help me not lose my cards by just sticking them in my pocket. And the card slot holds from 1 to 5 cards easily. Although it is a little difficult to get them out. But I've found that's pretty standard for me for card pockets on phones. And the purple color is pretty. The only thing that is slightly iffy is the hole for the fingerprint scanner. The case is thicker than my old one, so it makes it a bit more difficult to hit the scanner. But I'm hoping it's something I get used to. I don't know how long it will take for the fabric to start peeling, but I hope I can get at least a year out of it.

I ordered Jan 10, 2019. Today is Nov 23, 2019, and I've finally thrown this case out. It served me well. The pocket holds onto your cards right, the magnetic strip is pretty strong, and the fabric and textured pocket made for easy holding of such a large format phone. Of course it's dirty looking, there are cracks around the outside and charging port, etc. But I finally decided to let it go now that the whole fabric layer is peeling up. For just over $1/month my phone has been protected. $1,000 phone that I've dropped countless times. I got a lot more use out of this case than I thought I would.

I got this for my wife. She likes it because it is thinner than her Spigen wallet case so it is easier to pocket carry or fit into her arm band for working out. If I could change anything it would be adding something to the sides of the card slot for a little extra security. The metal plate part of the card slot does work if you use a magnet mount.

Metal bits fell out after a week or two

Really like the case however the little silver squares feel of after the first day which is fine cause I have the sitting on a car mount on and off so that is bound to happen. The card slot is super tight with 4-5 cards which is secures the cards so it pretty awesome otherwise those 2 things which I can totally live with. Good buy!
