the bike stays in place
I work in a very sediment job. I love how the bike stays in place. You can lock your chair on. I have used the Bluetooth app and that is a wonderful bonus feature!!! I have bought an under the desk bike before but I couldn't use it cause it kept moving. “I really do love this bike. My legs are sore today which is a great sign it is working. I work 6 days a week 10 hours a day strapped to a desk.

Hope you didn't buy it for the app like I did.
I bought this for increasing activity for my 8 hrs at a desk. My desk is hydraulic so I can adjust the height so my knees don't hit. At 29.5 inches, I barely clear it and I'm very short. Most desks aren't so high underneath. It's very quiet. It's surprisingly quiet. The issue with sound is the more I peddle, the more my chair clangs and squeaks. So my effort to not annoy my coworkers is failing. Not the fault of the equipment. It is very stable, it doesn't move and the option to lock the wheel is good. but it keeps me very very close to my desk.I barely have room to turn my chair to get up. To lock it and unlock it is a bit tricky but getting easier with practice.I wanted to monitor my progress so I thought the app was a very good idea. I choose to do the quick start so I just continue to peddle. When you start, you have to go into the app, start peddling so the Bluetooth on the exerciser starts, then click connect. It will give you options to click goal amount for miles, calories, or minutes with a list of quantities for each option. Or you can click quick start. That's my go-to. You can monitor your progress from the app and then view reports after either from the app or their website. When it's done for the quick start, just click stop and it displays your workout totals. If you do multiple workouts throughout the day, you get a daily total only but that's on the reports. My issue is that after 2 different 20 and 25 mile workouts, it never listed them on the report! There's no display on the device at all so no way to see progress without the app connection. There's only 1 battery and I'm thinking the peddling keeps it charged or something. There's no reason it shouldn't stay connected. When peddling, a red light comes on and I believe that is to tell you that the Bluetooth is on. It double blinks every so often while peddling.I reached out to the company twice, weeks ago about this issue and how to resolve and never received a response. Their forum posts haven't been answered in 2+ years. They aren't concerned with supporting anything. They are only concerned about sales or they would have responded. They did answer my suggestion about integrating the workouts on Samsung's health app, but they said it's not supported at this time. Of course not.Given the Bluetooth option with the app fails frequently, there needs to be another solution in place for tracking progress like an on device display. It's just too inconsistent and customer service is failing.

best of the bunch. very well designed
I rarely write reviews, but I am so pleased with this machine that I decided to write something. I have purchased 3 different magnetic under desk exercisers for family and I have to say this is the most well-designed and constructed one. I appreciate the engineering that went into this device. The chair hook is great. I have had no issues with the bluetooth thus far.The others I purchased:Meraxhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DQKGZGD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1This one is the most cheaply made and is smaller than the others. I would not recommend nor purchase again. It is the cheapest of the listed magnetic resistance machines for a reason.Sunny Healthhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QIM5CMA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1This one has less frills but is very well made. If price is a big concern, this is the one for you.

well built and is excellent for my intended use
I did not purchase this device for exercise. I have venous stasis, meaning the my blood pools in my lower leg and I use this device to pump it upwards with muscle contractions. While my venous check-valves are compromised, they still work, just less efficiently.I had to lengthen the connection to my office chair by about 8" to get my leg extension long enough to support ankling (a pedaling style), This works the muscles of my lower leg - required to pump the blood upwards. My inseam is 32". Note: the tether is made from para-cord and a carabiner (both available on Amazon)I am in my late 70's and the neuopathy in my legs prevents spinning, however it works perfectly for my intended use. If is wasn't for the need to extend the tether, I wound give it 5 stars. A great side effect of the longer and flexible tether is that I don't have to disconnect it in order to resume my dialog/argument with my office computer.Another thing I really like is the ability to ankle in my socks. Ankleing requires that the balls of one's feet must be directly above the pedal axles. I think I am accidentally getting some exercise. 30 RPM is a far cry from the 90 - 120 RPM of my youth, but still, it challenges my muscles and nervous system.PS. if you remove the pedals, be sure to use loktite blue when reinstalling them. You don't want them to fall off and hurt yourself.

Highly recommend this product!
I looked at a number of different under-desk bikes before settling on this one, and I definitely made the right choice. It is surprising how quiet it is regardless of which tension setting you use. I guess that's because it is magnetic rather than friction-based, but it is well built overall, so nothing else rattles or creaks either. The extending chair caster lock is essential if your desk is low, so you can sit further back and keep your knees low without worrying about pushing the bike further away from you as you pedal. It is pretty heavy overall, but I consider that a good thing as it is very stable and it has little wheels on the back that let you move it around easily when lifted by the caster lock on the front. The bluetooth features are a nice bonus for tracking your progress and such, but the bike is really great on its own even if you aren't interested in using the extra features.

Excellent Purchase for my new desk!
My first Amazon review. Do not waste your time and money on a cheaper under desk bike! The hook on the front of this bike is worth every dollar. It is almost impossible to use the cheaper versions while sitting in an office chair. This unit is solid and a bit heavy, but I have tried others and all they do is push away from you. This bike is adjustable, and the chair hook is the only way to go.
