Of course this is true of any object that provides a meditative focus regardless of its shape or composition, so if spending money on a shiny thing allows you to concentrate your mind better than go for it.

if the pyramid gets bent and then put back to shape will it be the same as before?

I personally guarantee that no matter how bent out of shape this thing gets or how well it's repaired it will give you just as much magic mystic pyramid power as the intact item. You could compress it into a cube, dissolve it in acid, launch it into the vacuum of space... and it will work just as well. Does the pyramid need to be oriented toward north? I used one before that needed to be oriented, just wondering about this one.
